Teaming up with Chester Film Co-Op


Over the last few months, Take the Cake have been attending the filmmakers networking events in Chester. A group where likeminded filmmakers, actors, photographers and so forth, meet up around a projector screen and share work and stories relating to film.



The group is organise by Daniel Fox and Mark Ellingham of Chat Noir Productions, Adam Bowler freelance cameraman/photographer, Nathan Head actor/producer, Jodie Forshaw actress/social expert, Mark Smith youtuber/filmmaker. Lovers of film and all things technical, this group has been operating since 2013 arcoss the city of Chester and it’s growing from strength to strength.

The networking events attract interest from industry professionals working on major productions to youtubers and college students just starting out.

Take the Cake’s current production of Morbid has received massive support from the Chester Film Co-Op. With 11 members now working on the show as cast and crew.
